First released by Nigel Mazlyn Jones on his own Isle of Light Records in 1976 in vinyl form, the re-mastered CD includes 23 minutes of previously unreleased material, the equivalent to a whole new side of the original LP. The CD sounds far closer to the original studio recordings than the vinyl version and includes a twelve page booklet insert with lyrics for all the songs, sleeve notes from NMJ, photos of the players and more visuals from Julian Russell who created the original artwork. Ship to Shore is a collector's classic now re-released under license on the Kissing Spell label. NMJ has often collaborated with other musicians and styles including commissions for TV and radio and his recorded output grows steadily.
