Selena Gomez's scrapped third studio album, commonly given the title "Seven Heavens" is an unreleased album recorded around 2016 - 2017 and was expected to be released some where in 2017, through Interscope Records, but never was. Selena has referred to this album as a "Dark Album" and has considered releasing some tracks on it on an album of it's own. During 2017, Selena shared through all her social media photos with a t-shirt that said "Seven Heavens" teasing new music and a new era. On August 14th, 2017, when Selena was asked what color she could describe the album with, she replied, "A deep blue". In a 2020 interview, Selena revealed she has “dark” songs that could possibly have their own special album.
