Seven for summer is indie piano artist thierry kauffmann's debut CD and will be released early December 2008. It features piano solo improvisations, scored piano pieces, electronic compositions using virtual studio instruments, as well as pieces recorded with other musicians. This album was recorded at Duncan Hall, Lafayette's historic artistic venue in Indiana by sound engineer Ron Smith and digitally captured by Dan Lawrence. Additional piano pieces were recorded by thierry kauffmann at his home studio in Grenoble, France. Mike Kelsey, Phil Hession, and Sharon Kenny collaborated on this album.
