Electronic Beats - Review by Gareth Owen Resistant to engaging with the likes of me on every level Third Shock – Belfast’s techno trio who have been associated with Mutant Disko and the early days of the UK’s intelligent techno movement - clearly want to let the music do the talking. What I think they are saying is “we like claustrophobic funky beats that draw from the past but look to the future, and this is how we want it to sound.
