Rashaad Compton, widely known as CompC, is a prominent artist from the hip-hop genre after a 9.5 year stint in the military. Under the newly established Po’ Boi Production he ventured off into beat production as well. His introduction to music began through embracing his artist gifts and poetry at a young age, listening to Prince, Marvin Gaye, Delfonics, and Chocolate Milk influenced his “swang” flow into raps after listening to legends like Tupac, Curren$y, Lil Wayne and Andre 3000. Throughout the musical journey, collaborating with artists like Mexican Trill, T-Herron the T.I.T.A.N., Pure Hunger Ent, Mr. Suspect, Jimi Starr, Loyal 2the Game and many more.
