“Run It” is the first promotional single from the film soundtrack for the 2024 action-adventure comedy film Sonic the Hedgehog 3 featuring American rapper and singer-songwriter Jelly Roll on vocals. It was apparently shadow-dropped three days before the release of the second trailer. The track was written by Ryan Tedder, David Guetta, Sean Cook and Jelly Roll and was produced by the former three. The song is an upbeat track that fuses country music with 2010's EDM. This marks the third collaboration between OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder and French DJ David Guetta who previously released “I Don’t Wanna Wait” on the former’s 2024 album Artificial Paradise and on "S.T.O.P" from the latter's 2014 album Listen.
