Solomon Jabby's latest album Rocksteady is a collection of rocksteady/early reggae style recordings with a hopeful message of restoration, love & salvation. For the last 2 years Solomon Jabby has been preparing, writing and recording this album. Through the years he's been heavily influenced by the legends of early reggae and rocksteady such as Toots and The Maytals, The Upsetters, Alton Ellis, Derrick Morgan and others. This project started out of a single he released in 2011, a cover of The Ethiopians "Train To Glory" which is also featured on the album. The vibes continued and one year later resulted in the release of Rocksteady! Featuring howling Hammond organ melodies and smashing snare fills, this album is uplifting, soulful and will move your musical feet!
