In December 2019, Azteca performed a spinal MRI investigation in which he found out that he was suffering from a lateral deviation of the spine from the normal vertical line, a condition also known as scoliosis. The artist then shared the experience with his followers on Instagram, saying that for him it was a deeply spiritual experience and that he spent his time, which seemed to flow much more slowly, designing his next album, hence the title. In the following days, he released his first single, "Scoliosis". This was followed by the singles with the video "Avicii" in September 2020 and "War with Money" in March 2021. The artist confirmed that the album has 20 tracks not too long before its release. RMN was supposed to be an EP released a short distance from Maktub, but in the middle of 2020 the rapper announced that in the end the material will be an album.
