In an interview with NME Asia in 2021, Ekrig stated that he would love to work on any of Avhath’s materials with Remedy Waloni (The Trees & the Wild) as he admires Remedy’s approach in writing and producing music. Two years have passed, and we will witness the collaboration come true as Avhath will release a new single titled "Return to Sender" on March 10th, co-produced with Remedy Waloni. "Return to Sender" is a composition of nearly 10 minutes in length, in which Avhath presents a different perspective in terms of song structure, sound textures, recording methods, and other things compared to their previous releases. From mid-2021 to late 2022, Avhath and Remedy ran workshops, recorded demos, and constantly revisited and experimented with the whole composition. All the back-and-forth process was done to ensure their respective visions were funneled, resulting in an output that is feral and rich in dynamics.
