"Resurrection" is the debut album by the American heavy metal band Halford, released on 8 August 2000. The album includes the track "The One You Love to Hate", which features vocals by Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden. "Silent Screams" is a re-recorded song that was originally written by Halford’s previous band 2wo. The album was remastered and re-released in 2006 on iTunes, including two bonus tracks from the original Japanese edition. It was later included in the digipak DVD release of "Resurrection World Tour – Live at Rock in Rio III" in 2008 with two additional tracks, and was released again as a standalone CD in 2009 with the same content. "Resurrection" received generally positive reviews. AllMusic gave the album four and a half stars, while Rock Hard rated it 9 out of 10. In September 2003, it was ranked number 54 on Metal-Rules.com’s list of "The Top 100 Heavy Metal Albums". In 2005, Rock Hard magazine placed it at number 320 in the book "The 500 Greatest Rock & Metal Albums of All Time".
