Hydrogen Arm was formed in 2007 in Gainesville, Florida. Incubated within the active Gainesville experimental music scene, Hydrogen Arm performed a series of shows over the course of four years characterized by an ever-changing sound and a strong improvisational streak. This recording contains material gathered during the last two years of the group's existence. "Reserve" combines sounds drawn from many sources -- from the environmental and instrumental, to the natural and synthetic. The sounds are woven together via live improvisation to create spaces filled with haunting, melancholic, and at times tense moments.
