Pop, R&B, relationships, emotions, sex, love, lovers’ quarrel and Warsaw’s city lights at night translated into slow tempos, modular synthesisers and reverbarating colourful vocals. That is the essence of the new album of Warsaw’s producers collective Superlvminal entitled ReCollection ReCollection consists of 11 tracks and over 50 minutes of ubiquitous analogue modular synths, thoughtful sound design and last but not least innovative vocal engineering. Advanced and meticulous production, post-production and editing is in direct contrast to simple, song-like forms of tracks. Every hook and chorus is a potentially infectious ear worm!. ReCollection is Slated for 25th November release via Bandcamp and all popular streaming services. It is probably difficult to find similar sounding music in Poland or even in this part of the globe. One can find many inspirations here: from pop to trap, soul, trance, IDM, ambient and last but not least alternative R&B from Toronto. Superlvminal is very crafty in mixing genres and creating unique style and atmosphere. It is precisely this character of their hard to define sound, that intrigues, attracts and even encourages to click on that ‘repeat’ button.
