Red Vox first released "Why Can't This Be Easy" on October 31, 2019, followed by "Ozymandias" on February 21, 2020 and "Realign" on June 25, 2020. During the premiere stream, Vinny mentioned that the band had experimented and worked a lot with synthesizers for the album, having drawn inspiration from MGMT and Tame Impala. The tracks in the album are described to be diverse in variety and groovy. The album art was largely based on a specific AI-generated image that Vinny had stumbled upon during one of his Ganbreeder streams, with him liking it so much that he saved it, and would later contact artist AmoralCrow to create said album art.
