The long awaited - by himself mostly - debut album, consists of two kinds of music pieces: the old ones ( Pulsar has been around as an idea on the guitar since 1998, while some of rest date circa 2003 until 2005) and last year ones (Elusive train, ZRH2SKG, the Big Screen Version of Nordic)... That is why it is probably obvious that there are two separate styles of pieces in the album: house tracks and ambient/electro/cinematic ones. This is because Quentin was a lot into his house music, listening mostly to people like Sasha and J.Digweed, but later on he was introduced to the music of Brian Eno and some 20th Century Post-Modernism, which really became the start of a new compositional period. Last year was a very productive year for Quentin, since for the first time after quite a bit, he could afford to stay in and just play, record, edit and mix, which also lead to quite a few reworks on some of the old material. The CD cover pic is the view from his room on the 11th floor. For the composition, sequencing, editing and mixing, Quentin uses exclusively a laptop borrowed from one of his best buddies, a pair of headphones (courtesy of the same person that took the photo of the window view) and a cracked version of a certain "fruity" music software. The hidden 12th track (only available on the CD - clever,huh?) is merely a composition based on short samples that make up a story.
