For most of their career this band has been three piece, Michael Gurley (guitar/co-lead vocals), Joie Calio (bass/co-lead vocals) and Phil Leavitt (drums). In the late 1990s, Dada performed with an additional musician, Gig McKell, who played rhythm guitar. They have a recording history that began with the 1992 album "Puzzle." The album has received many accolades and includes well know tracks such as "Dim" and "Dizz Knee Land," which reached number 5 on the Billboard Modern Rock chart and number 2 on the Billboard Alternative Rock Chart.
