Pure Mania by Stewart Home (King Mob, London 1998). A novel about punk rock and vegan and animal rights activists. This CD was put out on a subsiduary label of Mute Records run by Paul Smith who was also the man behind Blast First! Other releases in the series included CDs by Iain Sinclair, The Black Panthers, Charles Bukowski, Merry Prankster Acid Tests etc. The series was discontinued some years ago and the releases are deleted. The cover for the abridged audio CD version of Pure Mania features a painting of Stewart Home by Julia King.
