The Von play an eclectic brand of heavy rock that merges multiple genres into a unique sound. They fuse aggressive rhythms and melodic guitar work with indie inspired songwriting. Their sound is driven by hard-hitting drums and securely fastened to solid (and at times intricate) bass lines. That backline provides a platform for strong, melodic vocals and intense lead guitar work. The three members of The Von have musical backgrounds as diverse as the parts of the world they come from; Luis Bonilla on bass and vocals is from Venezuela; Marek Schneider on guitar is from the Czech Republic and Christopher McBride is from Illinois, USA. Brought together by a fierce love for rock music, the band works out of Delray Beach Florida, an area known for its support of local music and artists.
