Princess is the debut studio album by the British R&B pop singer Princess, released in April 1986 by Supreme Records. It was produced by Stock Aitken Waterman, and it peaked at No. 14 on the UK Albums Chart and at No. 80 in Australia. The album had heavy single promotion; starting with "Say I'm Your Number One" in June 1985; peak charting position: 7, "After The Love Has Gone" in November 1985; peak charting position: 28, "I'll Keep On Loving You" in February 1986; peak charting position: 16, "Tell Me Tomorrow" in June 1986, and being included on the Knights & Emeralds soundtrack; peak charting position: 34, and finally, the only one without a music video, "In The Heat Of A Passionate Moment" which only released in Germany and only made it to 74, being Princess' first song to miss the Top 40. All tracks on the album were written by the production trio, aside from "Just A TeaZe" which was written entirely by Princess and Don. This song was also Princess' favorite track from the album; though she admits it is bias. In 2009; the album had a deluxe re-release featuring new tracks such as the demo version of Say I'm Your No. 1, and extended versions of several tracks.
