Primer serves as the one and only retrospective for the work of 1800s Sea Monster. It covers the two years of the bands' existence, 2007-2008, and it's various aesthetic phases, from sloppy lofi acid folk through to deconstructed post-punk noisecore. New listeners are heavily advised to start here and work chronologically through the rest of the recorded works, which are all conveniently available for free download here and at other places throughout the internet.
