This is the band's "comeback" album after about 2 years or so of not getting anything done. There was supposed to be a full length recorded during that time but it was never finished and due to many logistical problems with the lineup and the songs themselves. So I made a decision to scrap the songs we were working on because of their overly complex nature and just seize back the control of the band I started so many years ago. The new Idea was for me and Marcus to become the principal songwriters and to write as many songs as possible in the spirit of old hardcore and thrash which we both grew up listening to instead of the Crossover/Progressive death metal we had been attempting. This was a direction I had wanted to go in for years now, but was always prevented from going in by lead guitar players wanting to make the songs more "interesting", or my own desire to overly complicate and over think things. This shift in course allowed the band to survive the tough times and still play music. "Post Apocalyptic Revisonist History" is the first output for the band in this format. The title has a bunch of meanings for me, but the most obvious one of course is that we had survived, kept the same name, and had a different sound. I wanted to call the band "Stalinizer" at first because we were basically erasing everything the old band did from history and starting over. But the name stayed the same and we just came up with this title for the album instead. All metal is revisionist his
