A dark album. Very claustrophobic in feel and very dense. It's an album to play by candlelight to get the full effect of the tracks. The songs were all recorded at home and recorded over a 2 month period. It's a mostly instrumental album bar from Sirius which features the glorious vocals of Primal Muse and The Pit and The Pendulum which samples Basil Rathbone's recitation of Edgar Allan Poe's famous poem.
