2008 – dadala’s 7th album ‘picnic’ blends abstract electronics, acoustic and electric guitars, piano and a bit of jazz. While not without the usual kaleidoscopic avant-garde edge, ‘picnic’ is more laid-back and ambient than other dadala albums, suitable for listening on a lazy Sunday morning, for an afternoon nap, or a late night mindscape excursion. The tracks are built primarily from recordings by Johann Meier (Jopy), also featuring material from Michael Chocholak, the glad hand and RDunlap.
