We started recording this at my old apartment, where I lived with Cason, Chris, and Wheels. Then I got married and moved, and we finished the record upstairs above the garage at the house Alison and I rented. Additionally, “Beautiful Girl” was recorded by Chris Weigel in Belmont’s A room, and “Photograph” was mainly recorded in Malcolm Burn’s basement in New York by B.J. Aberle. We mixed it at Josh’s apartment. Bonus tracks were recorded at the Velvet Eagle, Nashville, TN over a couple nights around Christmas in 2005. “New Mexico” was mixed by Josh Davis and “High School Band” was mixed by yours truly, for better or worse.
