Phobos is a new age musical project from composer Mark Adams Allison. The cd was originally released in 1999 under the Neurodisc label. Since then all rights have reverted back to the artist and the CD is available here as a remixed and mastered version. Mark has written under various project names, The Spirit Level Of Earth And Sky, Myseteria and Phobos. Mark grew up in Long Island, NY and moved to New York City in the 1990's to pursue graduate work at NYU in electronic music. It was there that Mark met Maiko and Kyoko who inspired him to compose his first published work, The Spirit Level. Mark has stayed with and continues to develop a world fusion sound that mixes guitars, synths and traditional world instruments. Mark is currently in the studio working on a 15 year anniversary edition of the original PHOBOS record with all new mixes, unreleased tracks and studio drawings and musings.
