Petals To Thorns is d4vd’s first studio project, released on May 26, 2023, through Darkroom/InterscopeRecords. On January 10, 2022, d4vd released “You and I,” as the first single of the album. A year later, after 13 other singles, it was followed by the haunting “Romantic Homicide,” which was released as the second single on July 20, 2022. Quickly after the success of Romantic Homicide d4vd released love song “Here With Me” on September 22, 2022. Kicking 2023 after “Placebo Effect”, he delivers melancholic indie track “WORTHLESS” on the 9th of March, 2023. Finally “Sleep Well” was released as the last single on April 13th, 2023. On May 9, 2023, d4vd announced the album’s cover, tracklist and release date on his social media. The album features an appearance from Laufey on track three, “This Is How It Feels”. Although, the track has been taken off of streaming services due to the early reports of d4vd’s controversy.
