Terry Whitehead was encouraged by other songwriters to record his songs and began doing just that in 2007, recording with Radical Recording Studios and producing his debut album, Perfect Wave. Perfect Wave was released in early 2008. The title song is inspired by his love of the Atlantic coast where he has lived for many years. The songs are so varied that it is hard to label as a whole. It is a mix of mostly Americana, but also blues-rock and even some acoustic pop-like tunes. The recording is a collection of all originals that are leaving an impressive track record in several songwriter contests such as Billboard international (Happy Valley Folks: “Lots of great crisp sounds. Very raw and real. Nice work.”) and UK Songwriting Contest (Happy Valley Folks – a semi-finalist in 2008).
