pEACEFANg is the solo project of A. Fischer from Portland, Maine. Fans of his group project, Selbyville, will notice distinct similarities between the two musical outlets. pEACEFANg delves into the minimal state of sound, focusing quiet instrumentals around acoustic guitar or Casio CT-310 keyboard. "Country Tune" begins the album with soft waves of twangy guitar drones. "ct310" showcases the lo-fi versatility of the Casio CT-310 keyboard. "Spring Breezes" sounds exactly how you would expect it to, drifting effortlessly with guitar and glockenspiel through four minutes of meditative reflection. Synths and minimal rhythms gently pulse over "Of or Like Twilight," a waiting-room segue, before "Rinpoche" builds into ambient synth work and clears the way to beautiful layered guitar. The EP winds down thereafter with the quiet synth outro of "Macoun Like Wound." This EP is short, sweet, and the perfect audio blanket on those cold winter days.
