"Patrolling the Heights" is the follow up to Marvins Revolt´s succeful album Killec that took them on a trip around the world. On "Patrolling the Heights" Marvins Revolt have shifted focus from angular rhythmic antics to a more elegantly finished songwriting, albeit mediated through a raw, analog soundscape. However Marvins Revolt are still frighteningly tight, catchy and melodic – and their lust for further adventures remains very much intact. ”Patrolling the Heights” was recorded in Sauna Studios, Copenhagen , in cooperation with the American producer T.J. Lipple, whose merits include working with bands such as Medications , MGMT and his own band Aloha. The album was released on the 2nd of November 2009.
