Passion is the third studio album by singer-songwriter, Regina Belle, released in February 1993. The album became her most successful album to date. It peaked at #63 on the Billboard 200 and #13 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart,selling over 389,000 copies according to Neilsen Soundscan.It was certified Gold by the RIAA on October 13, 1993. The album includes the hit singles, "Dream in Color" (#63 R&B), "If I Could" (#52 Pop, #9 R&B, #12 A/C) and "A Whole New World" (a duet with with Peabo Bryson) (#1 Pop, #1 A/C and #7 R&B). The song won the Grammy Award in 1993 for "Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal as well as a "Best Song" Oscar in the same year. "The Deeper I Love" was released as a single but even though it did not reach the main chart, it did peak at #7 on the Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart.
