Album
The awesome and fun "Pajama Party" confirms the band's ability to pass for a party band on a River Styx cruise line. Its thirteen covers β culled mostly from singles and compilations β range from the faithful (the Damned's New Rose") to the unrecognizable (Jimmy Cliff's "The Harder They Come") and from the ridiculous (the Go-Go's' "We Got the Beat") to the sublime (the MC5's "Kick Out the Jams"). In general the album remind the bands called as "proto-punk" or "garage-rock" from late 60s and early 70s such as: The Who, MC5, New York Dolls, Stooges, Dictators or lately Dead Boys or The Damned. Except two ridiculous songs, the rest is a very good album with a special vintage sound production. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Poison-Idea-Official-/366089496806858 http://www.discogs.com/release/1660298 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poison_Idea User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
