Release in april 1998, Ozone was Nukeateens first album, However many of the track were written far earlier. For example Morning after the Night Before was originally written in 1989 by bassist Jon Cebula for a video game called Side Impact, some years later when Taz heard a sample of the track he loved the melody and wrote some lyrics. Coffee break was written in 1990 during a Jam session between Jon and Taz. Bitter Wine and Drive was written in 1991, Undressing Benn 1992, while the rest of the album was mainly written in 1995-97.
