Album
Composed of field recordings made on the Toronto periphery, as well as in the networks (power, transportation etc.) that connect these areas to their urban hub, 'outskirts' is the sound of the outer boundary of the conurbation and the lines that lead to that edge. A variety of contact, hydrophone and induction microphones were used to collect the sounds, many of which are in the infrasonic range. The use of headphones or a subwoofer is therefore recommended. - Michael Trommer User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
