Album
This album was recorded over a course of a few months, beginning in July 2005. Heirs was a very DIY group, insisting on managing everything themselves. As a result, most of the production work was done by guitarist, Bob Lenz, and lead vocalist, Chad Nicefield. The recording was made entirely at the band's practice space, using Pro Tools on Bob's laptop. Heirs went through a line-up change in the middle of recording, when drummer Kyle Kremser quit and was replaced by Chris Herbert. As a result, the percussion on the album is a mix of the two. After this album, Heirs wrote about 6 other songs before disbanding in late 2006. Sadly, the tracks were never recorded, but they can be found on various live videos of their final shows.
