The Treehouse recorded ‘Ore’ a five track collection of their first songs with Producer Maurice Mulligan at BrickBeat studios in May 2010. The EP is a beautiful melodic collection of songs with swirling harmonies and solid, uncomplicated, musical support. The title track Ore is departure from the other tracks being almost a capella in the Gregorian Monk 'monastery of music' style. Very difficult to pull off unless everyone is in perfect harmony, but pull it off they do. My personal favourite is the final track, which at over 6 minutes, builds up with some great piano (keyboard effects I assume) and harmonies washing over the senses. The EP is perfect listening for the morning after the night before. So it's a Yes from me then...
