Caity Fisher is an Edmonton based Alternative Country artist signed to OLD UGLY Recording Co. She has released several EPs with Labrador Records before moving to OLD UGLY with the rest of the roster. She often collaborates with Jessica Jalbert, Layne L'Heureux, Tyler Butler, Liam Trimble, and Doug Hoyer. Her unique approach to music is somewhat akin to Patsy Cline or Johnny Cash with lyrics that channel some odd fusion of Charles Bukowski and Ted Hughes. Her voice is often commented on. Caity Fisher herself has been quoted as saying that "I feel like I am singing into the mouth of a cave." Her new album, Only The Wind, appearing on OLD UGLY, is her debut full-length, produced by Tyler Butler.
