ABOUT THE ALBUM • This album is more like a collection of recordings, all written/performed/recorded solely by Leiv Reed, between January and July 2008. Trivia: • The song Holes In The World was aired on Radio France in connection with a documentary made about the Norwegian culture, this show also featured the minister of culture Trond Giske, and world-famous author/playwright Jon Fosse. • These are the first recordings Leiv Reed has made in his newly acquired studio, which he shares together with friend and sometimes co-musician Vegard Urne aka Hotel Hotel (http://www.myspace.com/hotehoteldude/), songwriter, vocalist and guitarist in country-band Emtpy Bottles Broken Hearts (http://www.myspace.com/ebbh/). • Important musical sources of inspiration for these songs are David Pajo's album Pajo (2005), Phosphorescent's album Pride, and also Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Incredible String Band, The Smiths.
