The pure intention behind this CD “ONE” is to assist in dissolving the collective ego consciousness and bring about a positive change, in reducing suffering, and promoting the healing of humanity. The ego in it's essence is empty, a concept. Void of feeling and emotion and without any foundation of truth. When we allow it to distract (or possess) our awareness, we feel disconnected from our true self, which is essentially Love, peace, freedom, wisdom, happiness. If we are unaware of this, we get confused because we feel empty, and in our confusion, we seek our self (or these feelings) in things because the ego only understands in black and white, subject and object and seeks everything outside of itself. Why? Because it is empty. This illusion alone is what disconnects us from our true self, our heart, nature and each other. Causing ignorance and suffering. Recognizing this, I realized that I am in some way connected to all the suffering in the world. I felt with my heart that I would devote my life to dissolving this illusion in myself and others. So I realized I must follow my heart, which led me to do this work of reconnection through sitting in circle and chanting universal heart mantras. Chanting became my spiritual practice and I did this for 10 years, leading groups and opening the heart of the one. I have believed for a long time that consciousness could be transmitted through music and song. Recording “ONE” was my opportunity to put that into practice and so I
