In "Onda", the rapper maintains the lightness of those who want peace and love, as Rael himself emphasizes when presenting the album released last Thursday, March 20. Instead of going to war, Israel Feliciano goes to the dance floor in this dance album formatted with musical production by Nave Beatz in collaboration with Rael himself. Throughout the album's 14 tracks, Rael rides the wave of Bahian pagodão (Outro Nível, feat. Ivete Sangalo), synthesizes an afrobeat in Repara, uses the standardized beat of the trio Los Brasileros (producer of the lovesong Suave), teams up with the duo Tropkillaz in Me deparei com a lua and dives into reggae with a high dose of electronics in the song Na minha cabeça, a track softened by the touch of Mestrinho's accordion. With an excess of feats, the album also features Ludmilla in Vibe – a mix of amapiano and house – and Luedji Luna in the neo soul Meu iô iô, an example of the synthetic sensuality that recurs on the album released by the Laboratório Fantasma label with a cover that displays art by Gut Design. Present on the aforementioned track Na minha cabeça, Mestrinho also appears on Saudade de lascar, a song in which Rael expiates the pain of missing his accordion-playing father, who died as a result of COVID-19.
