This album, released in 2009, is based on the original music theatre performance for two a cappella voices “On Becoming”, which combines and explores the boundaries between music, movement and theatre. This work explores the dimensions/dynamics of the self, and the perpetual capacity of transformation. Sasha Bogdanowitsch and Sabrina Lastman (SoCorpo) have a varied background in new music, world music and jazz. These influences figure prominently in this highly original piece with conception & composition by Sasha Bogdanowitsch on voice/swarsangam/percussion, and Sabrina Lastman on voice/percussion.
