Noodzakelijk Verdriet is the debut studio album of Dutch singer Froukje, which was released on 12 januari 2024 via Frok ’n Roll Music. The album was preceded by the singles “Als Ik God Was”, “Naar Het Licht” and “Houden van Mij”. The album received universal acclaim from critics. It debuted at #1 on the Dutch album charts for three non-consecutive weeks, becoming her first ever chart-topping album. It similarly peaked at #1 in Flemish Belgium.
