No Sleep Til Heaven is the first studio album by American rapper Rip Thuggery, released October 10, 2011 on Deadline LLC. The album was recorded over the course of several weeks prior to Rip Thuggery's grandmother passing. Rip Thuggery's grandmother becoming ill contributed to his artistic re-emergence on record. Background No Sleep Til Heaven wasn't suppose to be Rip's first album. He had finished another project which was slated to be released in September. That project was pushed back because of Rip's inability to find "the right singer" for a certain song. As he was waiting on the mixing and mastering to get done for that project, Rip along with his longtime producer Casale "God Bless" Davis decided to put together No Sleep Til Heaven. According to Rip, the album was made to show the hip hop audience his respect for the art form. Lyrically, Rip intentionally tried to make the album reflective of his personality. Recording and Production The musical production on the album was done mostly by Deadline LLC head producer God Bless. As well as tracks from outside producers .
