In 2001, frontman Martin Walkyier departed from Skyclad, and was replaced on vocals by band guitarist and producer Kevin Ridley. No Daylights... Nor Heeltaps was the band's first album released after Walkyier's departure. It is a re-recording of 10 of Skyclad's earlier songs, with a lighter, more acoustic "Irish pub" sound.
