Having started their activities in the Summer of 2014, the mission of I Promised Once was to create a fresh approach to the international Metalcore scene. Having members from Germany as well as Japan with totally different music backgrounds including Electronic Music, Visual Kei, Rock & Death Metal, we decided to go for a global sound by integrating catchy guitar riffs, hard-hitting breakdowns with style elements from several popular genres of Electronic Music including Trance, Dubstep & House. All of this is supported by twin vocalists who incorporate shouts as well as clean vocals to add to the intricate layers of each of the 7 songs on their debut EP "New Blood".
