My December is the third album by Kelly Clarkson. It sold more than 2,000,000 copies world wide. It spawned four singles. "Never Again", "Sober", "One Minute", and "Don't Waste Your Time". "Never Again" was the only single to be released world wide. "Sober" was released to North America, "One Minute" to Australia, and "Don't Waste Your Time" to Europe. It is much more mature than Clarkson's last two albums. It was released June 22, 2008 to the regions of Europe and Brazil, June 23, 2008 to the regions of Australia and Venezuela, June 25, 2008 to the UK regions, June 26, 2008 to the US regions, and Thailand on July 5, 2008. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200, only about 35,000 copies away from being #1. The debut of Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus's album defeated Clarkson's. It peaked at #4 in Australia, #2 in the US, #2 in the UK, #42 in Japan, #6 in Brazil, #2 in Greece, #5 in Germany, #8 in New Zealand, and it defeated Miley/Hannah and hit #1 in the World Top 40 Album chart. In Australia, Canada, and the US, the album has been certified Platinum, in the UK, it's been certified 2x Platinum, and it has been certified Gold in Ireland. The album features many bonus tracks. These include, "Chivas" (bonus hidden track after "Irvine"), "Dirty Little Secret" (iTunes), "Not Today" (pre-order iTunes), "Fading" (Japan), and many remixes for "Never Again".
