This album was recorded in the famous Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Sheffield,Alabama under the direction of the late Spanky Chalmers Alford. He played on several albums with artists such as Joss Stone, John Mayer, Mary J Blige, Raphael Saadiq, D'Angelo and Roy Hargrove. Aline Vida met a DJ named Don Juan at WJAB in Hunstville, Alabama that recommended that she meet and work with Spanky which led to this collaboration.
