MUDBOY is Sheck Wes' debut studio album. It was released on October 5, 2018. Sheck discreetly announced the album’s release date in an Instagram post featuring friend and song inspiration Mo Bamba. The album’s lead single, “Mo Bamba,” was released on June 16, 2017. The song rose significantly in popularity in mid-2018. Sheck released a number of singles after “Mo Bamba,” including “Live SheckWes Die SheckWes,” “Chippi Chippi,” “Do That,” and “Niggas Ain’t Close” with Lil Yachty.
