"Mp3s" is a collection of demos recorded between 2003-2008. The first, "FM Radio, 4:00 PM," was recorded by Ben Gaydos onto a video cassette recorder with a single condenser mic hung from a chandelier. In the spirit of veritas, roommates can be heard talking and laughing in the next room if you listen carefully. The song was originally released on OutsideCircle.com's "Journal of Motion And Sound." The remaining tracks veer through a wide array of lo-fi production flourishes, and include my annual contributions to Bermuda Mohawk Productions' "Bermuda Snohawk" Christmas albums. All these tracks are free to download, except "Life Is Sweet." If you want that one, you'll have to purchase the GTG Recordings CD compilation "Situations At Hand" (GTG 015).
