Album
"Morning View" is the fourth studio album by the American rock band Incubus, released on 23 October 2001 through Epic and Immortal Records. A companion DVD, "The Morning View Sessions", followed on 29 May 2002. The album continued the band’s stylistic shift away from nu metal, incorporating a range of softer and heavier alternative rock elements. It was the final Incubus studio album to feature bassist Alex Katunich, who departed the band in 2003. Supported by the singles "Wish You Were Here" and "Nice to Know You", "Morning View" received generally positive critical reception and was certified double platinum, becoming the band’s highest-selling album. A rerecorded version of the album, titled "Morning View XXIII", was released on 10 May 2024. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
