"Mood Ring" was released on March 23rd, 2010, and marks a slightly different direction for the Ohio based industrial/ambient project, SPIDERintheHALL. Where "The End of an Era" was primarily piano and bass driven, "Mood Ring" is considerably more upbeat, featuring pop-friendly beats attatched to lyrics of anger, loss, and retribution. The music itself is much more electronic, with dense synths accompanied by layers of distorted horns and guitar. Standout tracks are the Nine Inch Nails resembling "Apes" and the indietronic influenced single, "Infected".
