Hot Molasses’ debut EP delivers driving, intricate melodies layered with guitars, keyboards, and, at times, mandolins and banjos. The Molassachusetts EP’s five songs range from punky power pop to lilting country and tackle diverse subjects such as local sports heroes, relationship mishaps, and addiction.
